Qantas EpiQure, the food and wine community within the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, is focusing on growing their South Australian product range to include gourmet food.
EpiQure has been selling wine for five years and the program is particularly targeting gourmet produce originating from wine regions to expand their offering, including jams, biscuits (sweet and savoury) condiments and sauces, olives and olive oil, cheese and accompaniments, tea, meats, honey, nuts, snacks, and sweets.
EpiQure sends 10 marketing emails per month, reaching over two million Qantas Frequent Flyers who are interested in food and wine, making this a significant opportunity to gain exposure.
The program stocks both perishable and non-perishable items, with the perishable items being shipped in styrofoam boxes with ice cells on express shipping.
EpiQure operates a drop-ship model with Qantas taking care of the sales, marketing and customer service, and suppliers shipping the product directly to the customer. The program currently operates within Australia only.
Suppliers need to have an established (or be prepared to establish) ability to process online orders and ship directly to customers Australia wide.
