New Food South Australia member L’Abruzzese collected silver and bronze medals at the 2016 Australian Food Awards last month.
The Australian Food Awards are a new initiative of the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), designed to build on the success of their Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards.
L’Abruzzese won a silver medal for their Egg Fettuccine No. 5 and bronze for their Organic Spelt Fettuccine.
The company has been producing artisanal pasta in South Australia since 1980, and say the medals are confirmation by their food industry peers to L’Abruzzese’s dedication to producing quality pasta with outstanding flavour and texture using the best local flours and traditional pasta making techniques.
