Another event coming up with Shinka Management is on Japanese Industry and Business Culture Training from the 11-12 February 2016.
Japan is a vitally important trading and defence partner to Australia, and a strong source of foreign direct investment. Our trade partnership with Japan was reinforced in 2015 with the signing of the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement, and our defence relationship will take on a new form in 2016 should Japan be selected as the successful bidder for the Collins-class submarine replacement project.
These developments are leading to further opportunities for Australian industry through export, partnering and supplying to Japanese companies and related projects.
To assist companies seeking to access these opportunities, Shinka Management, in conjunction with the Australian Industry Group and the Defence Teaming Center, will be running a two-day training course on Japanese Industry and Business Culture. The purpose of the training is to provide the appropriate level of understanding and cultural awareness to allow Australian companies to effectively deal with Japanese counterparts in a business setting.
