Haigh’s Chocolates to open first store on Sydney’s North Shore

Haigh’s Chocolates will, in March, open a third store in Sydney at Chatswood Chase Sydney, its first on the North Shore. The prestigious retail destination is a perfect fit for Australia’s oldest family-owned chocolate maker and retailer.

“Chatswood Chase Sydney is delighted to welcome Haigh’s Chocolates to the centre. It’s a great addition to our stellar line-up of Australian and international brands” said Tony Gardiner, Centre Manager.

The new store comes on the back of rising sales of Haigh’s chocolates in Sydney; demand that has grown exponentially each year since the first Sydney store opened ten years ago in the Strand Arcade when Sydneysiders had their first taste of Haigh’s high quality Australian made chocolate.

“We opened our second and now flagship Sydney store in the CBD Queen Victoria Building just three years ago in response to the incredible support that we received for our fine chocolate,” said Chief Executive Alister Haigh.

“This support gave us confidence and drove our decision to expand again, this time over the Bridge, on the North Shore. We chose Chatswood Chase Sydney because we believe it to be one of the best shopping centres in metropolitan Sydney. It fits well with what we, at Haigh’s, look for in a quality retail setting.”

“Every Haigh’s store location must satisfy our set criteria and we’re happy to bide our time to wait for the right place. Chatswood Chase Sydney’s design, its warm ambience and impressive array of retailers align perfectly with our brand.”

The Chatswood Chase Sydney store will be light and bright and will feature high-quality finishes in Jarrah, Tasmanian oak, marble and glass. The style is in keeping with Haigh’s well-established store design and the high-quality experience Haigh’s customers have come to expect.

“We can’t wait to welcome dedicated Haigh’s Chocolates enthusiasts and new customers to Chatswood Chase Sydney in March,” Alister said.
