Join the Office for the Ageing, SA Health and Business SA for a free lunch-time event, The Business Benefit, a mature workforce forum.
South Australia has an ageing population – how can this benefit your business?
When you think about recruiting workers, does an older person spring to mind as easily as a younger person?
Many business owners and employers, including small businesses, are themselves aged 45 and over.
Come and hear about the benefits of employing mature aged workers, which include the financial incentives that may be available when you employ an older worker.
The forum will feature experts from national and South Australian businesses (Bunnings and Taylors Wines), CEO of Business SA Nigel McBride, Assoc. Professor John Spoehr leading workplace researcher from the University of Adelaide, and be facilitated by Ian Henschke, ABC radio and television personality.
It is specifically aimed at employers in the private sector, including small, medium and large businesses.
