LATEST IN PACKAGING TRENDS

Food SA is looking forward to Tim Tanaka from our Japan office visiting Adelaide the week of 16 June. During his visit, Food SA is holding a networking event on the 19 June, Join Food SA for an exclusive packaging briefing to gain an insight into packaging for Japan and Australia. Tim Tanaka will talk about food packaging in the Japan market. Dr Kevin Buckett, Director of Public Health Services, SA Health and Chair of the Star Rating System's National Oversight Committee, will also talk about the new initiative being developed for front of food pack labelling, to enable healthier food choices by consumers. Local food companies are invited to apply for the South Australian Government’s Graduate Access Program (GAP). If your company needs new people with new skills, then the Graduate Access Program could help fill the gap and boost your business capabilities. The program is supported by Food SA and offers subsidies (up to $10,000) to connect South Australian food companies with university and TAFE graduates. Graduates can be employed in a diverse range of areas including food technology and quality control, engineering, marketing, logistics and financial systems.
