Gain skills in food safety, dairy chemistry and microbiology, artisan cheese making, affinage, identifying cheese defects and how to avoid them. You’ll spend time in the classroom learning the theoretical aspects of Artisan Cheese making as well as hands on experience in our accredited cheese factory here at the Academy. *Only 20 contact days are required!
Eligible participants must enrol with the TAFE SA Regency Campus by 31 May 2014 and must complete this course by 31 May 2015. Their employer will be required to pay $1500 towards the cost of the training prior to 30 June 2014.
Eligible participant means a person who:
- Is employed by an employer
- Resides or works in South Australia
- Is not enrolled in School; and
- At the time of enrolment in the Eligible Training, is 16 years or over and:
i. An Australian Citizen; or
ii. A permanent Australian resident; or
iii. Holds a State sponsored visa on a pathway to permanent residency; or
iv. Is a New Zealand citizen living in South Australia
