Nick’s journey will include racing to the Caribbean destination of Rodney Bay, Saint Luicia, at the annual Atlantic Rally for Cruisers – ARC 2012 in November – the biggest transocean sailing event in the world, which takes an average of 2-3 weeks.
Thirty-year-old Nick, who has been racing yachts since the age of 6, has been able to take leave from his job at as a telecommunications engineer at Ausgrid, to complete his first ever trip sailing the world.
