Food South Australia delivers a range of services for our members and for the South Australian food and beverage industry. These services are designed to assist food and beverage manufacturing businesses to achieve your business goals.
Do you need help with processing, quality or new product development? Help is on hand. Food South Australia partners with the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) to offer our members assistance with food technology services. SARDI can help you improve your technical know-how, develop new products, sensory test your products, and get assistance with labelling, nutrition, shelf life, packaging and processing.

Education and skills development
Food South Australia fosters business and specialist industry skill development by connecting food businesses with training providers and expert advisors. We also host the Food South Australia Summit, an annual one day conference specifically for the food and beverage industry, where you can hear from international and national experts on trends, challenges and innovations in the sector. From time to time, we also host workshops and special events on key topics such as food safety, labelling, compliance or HACCP.

Food South Australia hosts regular inbound buyer visits and assists with outbound trade missions every year. We also coordinate and host South Australian and Australian stands at national and international trade shows, and present South Australia’s only dedicated food trade show – Think Food – biannually. These events are presented with funding support from the Government of South Australia.
