The South Australian Food Users’ Guide (second edition), published in 2015, is a useful guide for anyone in food service from chefs, to cooks, purchasing managers and caterers, to locate South Australian producers and suppliers of premium bakery goods, beverages, cereals and grains, dairy produce, eggs, fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry and game, seafood and finished foods including oils, vinegars, honeys, spreads and jams.
Along with a brief description of each food category and the South Australian food producers and manufacturers in that category, the guide also includes information on packaging, storage and handling, what to look for in premium produce, a seasonal produce harvest guide and a series of masterclasses on the preparation and use of some of our state’s flagship produce. The directory A-Z includes almost 500 South Australian food businesses.
