When passion, respect and time come together in the pure waters of the Great Southern Ocean, amazing abalone are created. It is in this pristine environment that Yumbah grow sustainable abalone.

Starting in 1999, Yumbah was exporting modest volumes of abalone by 2006. Seven independent abalone farms joined together to market under the AUSAB brand. By 2015, AUSAB, owned by Yumbah, was the largest, multi-site shellfish aquaculture company in Australia. In 2017 Yumbah opened its central facility in Wingfield, South Australia to more efficiently consolidate abalone produced in multiple locations.

The sweet, subtle flavour, tender texture and pearl white meat of the Yumbah Greenlip make them one of the most highly sought after ocean delicacies. Perfect for light frying. The sashimi-grade Greenlip is the most delicate of all abalone species, snap frozen and sold in shell to retain maximum flavour and goodness.
