Section28 Artisan Cheese is an artisan producer of high quality, handcrafted alpine-style cheeses that reflect the terroir of the Adelaide Hills.
Inspired by Ralph Waldo Emerson, we are dedicated to achieving absolute excellence in all of our cheeses and we aim to become known as a leading Australian producer of alpine-style cheeses.
Handcrafted cow’s milk cheeses (non-animal rennet). MONFORTE: alpine hard, aged 12 – 15 months, 10kg hoops; MONT PRISCILLA: alpine semi-hard, washed rind with line of ash through centre, aged 100 – 120 days, 5kg hoops; IL LUPO: alpine semi- hard, washed rind (with Lobo apple cider), aged 100 – 120 days, 7kg hoops; MONT ROUGE: alpine semi-soft, washed rind, aged 30 – 45 days, 3kg squares.

Our current markets are restaurants (typically fine dining) and specialty food stores in SA, VIC, WA, QLD and NSW.
- Processing capabilities: Blast chilling/freezing, Container filling, Export licence storage, Freezing, Vacuum chilling
All cheese are handcrafted adhering to the very best HACCP and GMP principles.
- Packaging capabilities: Bag or pouch, Box, Modified atmosphere or vacuum, Tray or skin
- Storage: Chilled
Full or half wheels wrapped in waxed cheese paper.
