Established in 2005 by William and Claire Wood, Carême Pastry specialises in producing the finest handcrafted, ready-to-use, buttery pastry for the food service industry and home cooks.

Using traditional French methods, our pastry gives chefs and home cooks the confidence to create delicious dishes with perfect results every time. Made using the finest quality natural ingredients, our pastry is free from additives, preservatives, and colourings. Our products are used by many of Australia’s top chefs and food writers.

Classic All Butter Puff Pastry – feather light layers of flaky pastry that’s as good as homemade, Sour Cream Shortcrust Pastry – a super versatile pastry with a gorgeous flaky texture, Vanilla Bean Sweet Shortcrust Pastry – melt in the mouth delicious (so good you might just want to skip the filling!), Spelt Wholemeal Butter Puff Pastry – wholesome, with a delicate nutty flavour.

The Carême range of traditional pastry is available in Australia – in a wide range of fine food stores and independent supermarkets. Our food service pastry product is available through various state-based distributors nationally.

Made to the most exacting standards to ensure superior results every time. We work in small batches respecting the traditional methods of pastry making.

  • Packaging capabilities: Box, Hand packed
  • Home Cooks: frozen, ready-rolled, pack sizes from 375gm to 445gm. Just unroll and use or cut to size. Food service pastry comes in bulk sizes ranging from 2.35kg packs of sheets to 5kg ready rolled rolls. Food service pastry is ideal for use in restaurants, cafes, hotel banqueting, catering, pie and finger food manufacturing, and bulk food supplies.
