Food South Australia has partnered with CheeseFest+FERMENT to offer distributors, retailers, buyers, chefs and food trade media exclusive access to this iconic festival celebrating the wide range of cheeses and fermented foods and beverages now made in South Australia.
Food SA CEO Catherine Sayer says the Trade Power Hour is an ideal opportunity for Trade Power Hour guests to take their time to meet new producers and learn about emerging brands in this important food and beverage category by offering access to the festival before the gates open to the public on 26 October 2019.
“The purpose of this event is to give existing and new customers a one-stop opportunity to look for new brands and products in this category,” Ms Sayer said.
“As the peak body for the industry in South Australia, one of our key roles is assisting food and beverage manufacturers to grow their sales and markets, and CheeseFest+FERMENT is where our state’s leading manufacturers and innovative products will be gathered this October,” she said.
“We hope this event will help both buyers and producers engage and open up new opportunities to do business.”
CheeseFest+FERMENT organiser Kris Lloyd says the festival is growing year on year, and exhibitors in 2019 will include a number of producers showcasing their wares for the first time.
“The diverse range of food products produced in South Australia today has never been more exciting,” Ms Lloyd said.
“We are seeing some age-old traditional methods being brought back, along with new and innovative products being produced, all using world class raw materials. We are delighted to offer this platform to raise awareness and grow markets for all the South Australian producers participating in the event,” she said.
