Food Processing Equipment have become a sponsor Food South Australia, the peak body for the food and beverage industry in South Australia.
Welcoming FPE as an Associate Sponsor, Food South Australia CEO Catherine Sayer said this new step is an excellent example of the value and support Food South Australia’s sponsors bring to the organisation and to members.
“FPE are leaders in our industry and will work with us to help our members continue to innovate and improve,” Ms Sayer said.
“FPE have supported Food South Australia and the industry through a very longstanding sponsorship of the food awards over the years, and this is a natural progression in our partnership.”
An independent, Australian family-owned company, Food Processing Equipment has decades of experience in the supply of food processing equipment and in providing the essential training, installation support, and after sales service food and beverage manufacturers rely on to keep their products rolling out day after day. The company provides hand tools, machines and consumables to many manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand.
FPE General Manager Tania Carey says her family’s objective since establishing the business 35 years ago has always been to be respected globally for their ability to source, manufacture, distribute and service the equipment needs of the food industry.
“Food and beverage businesses come in all sizes, with all sorts of priorities and challenges, but the need to access the very best and most innovative support is common to all,” Ms Carey said.
“It’s what excites us. We have sponsored the Innovation in Business Award in the South Australian Food Industry Awards for the last three years because we are so proud to have been involved in so many great food and beverage industry projects where we have helped deliver great solutions and made the most of new technologies. And now we are really excited to be working together with Food SA in a new capacity.”
Catherine Sayer said the support of the association’s sponsors has been instrumental in developing resources and providing specialist support to members.
“Our industry has a proven record in innovation and much of this has come about because of the remarkable level of trust and collaboration in the industry in South Australia,” she said.
“We see examples all the time of manufacturers and industry service providers leveraging their joint expertise and experience to take on new challenges. It’s a characteristic of our industry here that attracts attention all over the world.”
