South Australian Seafoods have been farming Boston Bay Mussels in the pristine waters off Port Lincoln for 10 years. The business now includes over 200 hectares of water space spread over 17 farms, ensuring they are able to source a constant supply of supreme quality product year round.
Boston Bay Mussels are harvested at least three days each week, and are processed into a variety of packaging options. The most popular is the 1 kg vacuum-packed bag. The mussels are live, scrubbed clean and de-bearded, and will keep fresh in the fridge for up to ten days. Boston Bay Mussels are also available in 3 kg vacuum-packed catering packs, or sold as loose live product.
