Japan is a significant export market for many Food South Australia member companies, as well as a new market being considered by many others. On the back of the strong Food South Australia delegation to FOODEX Japan in March, members are encouraged to take this opportunity to develop an understanding of Japanese business etiquette and strategies for working with the Japanese, in order to further strengthen prospects for success in this important export market.
The one-day course will be held in Wayville on 22 September 2017 and will cover key characteristics of Japanese culture, company structure and business customs. The seminar will include a mix of presentation, video, interactive learning experiences and discussion. Participants are provided a training workbook with all content from the course.
The seminar will help you avoid the pitfalls and mistakes commonly made by people both new and experienced in dealing with Japan. It will cover the fundamentals of Japanese business etiquette and culture to remove those uncomfortable moments of cross-cultural business so that you can focus on maximising the value of your business interactions.
