FOOD IS FIGHTING BACK

It was fantastic to get front page of The Advertiser a few weeks ago with Robern Menz and Kytons Bakery sparring it out for the SA Food Industry Awards new Consumer Award. Thousands of votes are being tallied, with voting now closed. All of the winners will be announced at the Awards presentation Gala Dinner 29 November 2013 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. We're proud to launch a new online resource for the industry on the Food SA website: the Guide to Food Business. Food SA's Guide to is a collection of valuable information and resources to help you get started, grow and develop your company in the South Australian food industry. It includes information on market research, consumer behaviour, production, food safety, packaging and labelling, pricing, advertising, branding, marketing, websites, social media, business planning and risk management. We'd love to hear your feedback.

FEED YOUR CONNECTIONS

Food SA is currently exploring additional opportunities to communicate valuable information to our members, via a new ‘Feeding Connections’ blog on the Food SA website. The blog will examine a range of topics including packaging, food trends, professional writing, marketing, branding, labelling, processing and digital communications. We are opening the opportunity to contribute posts to the blog as a Food SA sponsor or member. If you’re interested in contributing, please contact jessie@foodsa.com.au with a brief summary of your post idea.
