AGRIEXCHANGE

The largest vertically integrated growing, packing, marketing and farm management enterprise producing fresh, quality citrus in Australia.

AgriExchange employs 110 FTEs in the Riverland, and up to 1,200 casuals as required. They process and market over 70,000 tonnes of horticulture produce annually and market their produce to over 25 countries as well as being major suppliers to the Australian domestic market. Fruit is marketed under 2 main brands, ‘Vitor’ and ‘Kangara’. Both brands are well established and have been in the market place for over 20 years.

The company is owned by CostaExchange Ltd, who also have major Australian investments in mushrooms, berries, bananas, table grapes and tomatoes.

WHY WE’RE A MEMBER

Through the Food SA Japan office we have partnered and developed a market to deliver high quality South Australian citrus. The Japanese market has grown from being 1% of our sales 10 years ago to 16% in 2011. The Food SA team assists in hosting our visits to Japan and bringing buyers to visit the Riverland and have been a major reason for our success in this market.

MITOLO GROUP

The Mitolo Group is a family owned company who specialise in growing and packing potatoes and onions as well as producing cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, and premium wine. Mitolo Group products are exported to 29 countries around the world.

The Food SA team based in Shanghai have given us a distinct advantage when sourcing new business in China.
