Food SA along with partners SARDI and PIRSA are providing the valuable resource of food technologists to all SA food companies and specifically Food SA members who want to innovate, develop and strategically grow.

FACILITIES
Located at the Waite Campus at Urrbrae the Food Technologists work from a new product development kitchen, analytics lab and full sensory space.

Dr Andrew Barber, Principal Food Technologist and Robyn Hargrave, Food Technologist from SARDI are two of the experts available to help food companies.
With broad experience in the food science sector, they can help ‘join the dots’ if you identify problems that need the expertise of a food technologist.

As a benefit of membership with Food SA, your company can receive free initial advice to work out options for potential solutions to technical problems in areas such as processing, quality improvements and new product development.
If a longer term project is needed to solve the technical challenge the team will provide a technical service at a reduced commercial rate to members or assist in directing you to a range of consultant food technologists or other technical experts.
