While some companies need advice on packaging and processing, others need scientific assistance on labelling, nutrition information and flavour balances.

Located at the Waite Campus at Urrbrae the Food Technologists work from a new product development kitchen, analytics lab and full sensory space.

With broad experience in the food science sector, they can help ‘join the dots’ if you identify problems that need the expertise of a food technologist.

If a longer term project is needed to solve the technical challenge the team will provide a technical service at a reduced commercial rate to members or assist in directing you to a range of consultant food technologists or other technical experts.
